:Puntland removes Deputy Minister of Seaports

Somali’s semi autonomous regional state of Puntland has on Wednesday sacked its deputy minister of seaports and transportation C/rishiid Gaani Ali due to providing an interview to the local media

The removed official has severally denounced the state on the  arrival of Ahmed Abdi Haabsade, who defected from the neighboring state of Somaliland two months back. The government alleged that he neglected public duties of the ministry.

I wasn’t aware of it, but some of my colleagues told me the theme through the phone “the deputy minister told reporters in Garowe city, the administrative capital of Puntland administration. The state has turned down to give any statement about the dismissal.

According to independent sources, a firing letter from the state presidential palace was sent to the ministry of seaports as the deputy minister obtained copy of it.

During the interview  Abdirashiid has criticized former government leadership saying Faroole regime committed a massive crimes against Sool and Taleex communities.

“In my opinion everybody knows what Haabsade did to the people of Puntland, the land he facilitated to the enemies still out simply he was carrying out another administration’s interest “Gaani added.
