Farmaajo, Khaire Arrive In Baidoa Ahead Of National Security Conference
Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo on Sunday arrived in the South West State administrative capital Baidoa ahead of the National Security Conference.
Hours earlier Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire had landed at the Baidoa Airport where he was welcomed by regional President Sharif Hassan Adan.
Security has been beefed up in Baidoa with extra checkpoints erected.
State Media reported that the National Security Conference is to open on Monday.
The conference seeks a national security policy for Somalia.
