Children from low caste and minority communities in Galgadud offered free education in Schools
School principals in Guri-cel and Dhusamareb districts said that they have have granted free edeucation for children who belong to “low caste and minority communities living in both districts.
Ali Mohamed , the principal of one of the prominent schools in Galgudud region said so far they has registered students from low caste and minority communities.
“ We have enrolled 5O students from these communities who belong to poor people abandoned and looked down by others” said Ali.
“ Parents of these children can not afford and these children could not go to schools and therefore we started this scheme yo help them access to education”
Education oofficials said that the plan was accepted and it is a united effort by all the schools in Galgudud region .
Abdulahi Botan , member of the Dhusamared educational committee said that the scheme has a great significance to the low casted and minority communities in the region .
Some of the parents of these children appreciated the move praising those who are pushing for its implementation.
