An explosion in Mogadishu kills government official

A government official working for the protocol department of the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu has been killed in an explosion that occurred in Maka Al-Mukarana street near Wehliye Hotel on Sunday.

Witnessess say that it is believed that explosive devives were detached to the car of the official who was severely injured especially one of his legs and later died at a hospital .
“It was heavy explosion and that car was set ablaze and we saw a man covered with blood coming out from the car” said Mohamed Ahmed , a resident.
“Another pedestrian who is a civilian was also wounded “ said Ali Mohamoud Farah, “Ali Seko” , spokesman of Mogadishu Regional Administration.
There is no group to claim the responsibilty of the attack
