A controversial recoinciliation conference has on Sunday started in Baidoa of Bay Region . The conference that will take 45 days was attended at its launching by the Speaker of the Parliament Mohamed Osman Jawari and Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, elders and Politicians. Speaker of the Parliament JAWARI speaking at the opening ceremnony stated that it is expected from the conference establish a new regional state of North-West consisting three regions including Bay, Bakool and lower Shabelle regions. “ We expect this confernce leading a unanimous regional state containing three regions” said JAWARI. “ We , as the government of Somalia ready deliver the facilitation and logistics needed for the government inorder that people in these regions attain common understanding” said Somali Premeir Abdiweli speaking at the conference. On the otherhand , Madobe Nunow , the president of North-West regional state of the six regions consisting Bay, Bakool , Lower Shabelle , lower Jubba , Middle Jubba and Gedo denied that the conference is concerned on politics and establishing a new regional state . “It is a recoinciliation conference among elders of Bay and Bakool ..” said Madobe who did not show up at the conference. He has also said that he is ready to negotiate with Ahmed Madobe , leader of Jubba Administration instead of accepting the new state expect to be the outcome of conference. The conference came out after a deadlock over two parallel regional states earlier established in Baidoa.
