Two Hirshabelle Mps to be buried on wednesday at jowhar-middle shabelle Somalia
Parliamenterians members of Hirshabelle who were yesterday killed on a road ambush by Al-shabab between Mugadishu to Jowhar town were today taken to jowhar the capital of Middle Shabelle region in southern Somalia to be buried.
The vice president of Hirshabelle and other officials from the regional and the federal government were expected to attend the funeral today at jowhar town.
Ismail Mumin Hilowle, Sheikh Dahir Mukhtaar and the deputy chairman of the Ceelle Muse Afweyne, were those killed in the attack along with their security.
The road between Mogadishu and Jowhar, especially between Balcad and Jowhar, has increased the attacks of al-Shabaab fighters in the last two months.
Hirshabelle parliamenterians are deeply concerned by the insecurity in this road, as most of the MPs travel to Mogadishu frequently to play their role for their people.
