Somali government to hold its weekly cabinet meeting in Garowe
Somali government will hold the cabinet meeting in Garowe town on Thursday, a move aimed at enhancing the cooperation between the Federal government and the member states.
Prime minister Hassan Ali Kheire is expected to arrive in Garowe town in the forthcoming hours.
Preparations to welcome the PM is reportedly underway in the town.
Reports say the majority of the cabinet reached the town ahead of the PM.
Preliminary meetings between the Federal ministers and their regional counterparts were held before proceeding to the official council of ministers meeting.
The Cabinet meetings which are held once a week is co-chaired by the Prime Hassan Ali Khayre and the Puntland president Abdiweli Ali Gaas.
Previously, the weekly meetings of the cabinet took place in Baidoa and Kismayo towns.
