Top UN delegation reaches Kismayo town for Talks
Top United nation delegations led by UN deputy special envoy to Somalia, Fatiha Serour have on Wednesday reached Kismaayo City, the regional capital of juba interim administration. The delegation received warm welcome from the state officials at Kismayo airport.
The UN officials were escorted to juba presidential palace and have met with the state representatives amid both sides have discussed a wide range of issues. Shortly after the meeting second deputy president of Juba administration C/qaadir Lugadheere praised the arrival of the delegations.
We talk over the process of upcoming reconciliation conference in the coming days, helping venerable people live in the drought effected areas and the region’s security upgrades “ Lugadheere told the reporters .
The delegation have paid official visit to Kismaayo University, where Col .Bare Hirale militias have stationed recently. On the hand the officials welcomed the military offensives against Al-shabaab in the region outskirts.
