Somalia Holds A National Conference On Constitutional Review
National Constitutional Convention aimed to review the constitutional process has kicked off in Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia.
More than 250 stakeholders from across the country and Diaspora have been invited to attend the three-day meeting launched in the capital on Sunday morning.
The Constitutional Affairs ministry has been carrying out the constitutional review process and consultations in the country for the last six years.
The Provisional Constitution was adopted in 2012 after Somalia moved out of the post-transitional government and elected a permanent Federal government.
