Armed men supected to be al shabaab abduct doctors near Beledweyne town
Armed men suspected to be al shabaab, an Islamic insurgency group have on Friday reportedly abducted five people including three Somali doctors.
These people were abducted at As-asey neighbourhood near Beledweyne, the capital of Hiran region with a convoy of three cars heading to Garbaherey, the capital of Gedo region from Mandera town of the north west region of Kenya, where they have attended a seminar.
The convoy was reportedly taken to Gadoon- Dhawe neighbourhood between Beledweyne and El-Waq.
Al shabaab did not comment on the latest incident in As-asey.
