Garowe agreement criticized despite solving rift between Federal government and Puntland

Genral Khaliif Isse Mudan , a politician and former Security Minister of the Semi-autonomus Regional State of Puntland welcomes an agreement signed on October 14, 2014 in Garowe between Somali Federal Government and Puntland .
Mr Mudan on the other-hand criticized such agreements saying that agreements so far reached were not fully implemented asking how the rift between the two sides was resolved .

The agreement outlining 12 articles designed to cement further cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and Puntland State of Somalia also received criticism from GalMudug President Abdi Hassan Awale Qeybdid pointing out that the agreement was “Conspiracy “ against the constitution.
The agreement notes that Mudug region being splitted between Puntland and the incoming Central State of Galgudud and the second part of Mudug represented by Gal Mudug State.
Hawiya Traditional elders also criticized the agreement which isn’t widely accepted in the central regions.
