SOMALIA:- Governor of Bari region first visit in Galgala mountains
The governor of Bari region of Puntland state of Somalia Abdi Samad Galan’ Visit in Galgala Mountains on the southwest of the region’s port town of Bosasso.
surprise visit to the Galgala area makes governor of Bari region Mr Abdisamad Galan the first governor of Bari region who pays physical visit in the area which has been a real frontline for Puntland defense forces and the militants linked to Al Qaeda.
During the visit, governor of Bari region toured the defensive positions of security forces against the Al Shabab fighters of the Puntland, which waged several high profile attacks on civilian and government interests
Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali ( Oct-01-2014) has said government forces have captured the main base of Radical Islamic militant group in Northern Somalia after a fierce battle.
