President Sends Goodwill Message To Muslims On Start Of Ramadan
Incumbent Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has sent goodwill message to Somali people as well as Muslims around the world at the start of holy month of Ramadan.
Farmaajo acknowledged the importance of the holy month to Muslims around the world as special time of both repentance and forgiveness.
“The beginning of this holy month of Ramadan carries a lot of good. It is the month of goodness, it is the month of repentance and forgiveness.” said the President Farmajo.
The government on Monday night announced that Tuesday will be the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan according to State Media.
“Somali Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially announced that Tuesday, April 13, marks the first day of Ramadan,” SNTV said in a tweet.
