No official reason was given for the postponement House which was expected on Monday to discuss COVID-19.
On Saturday Speaker of the Lower house, Mohamed Mursal adjourned parliament after brawls between opposition and pro-government MPs.
The speaker banned 15 opposition from attending the upcoming sessions accusing the MPs of rioting and obstructed Saturday’s Parliament session on Covid-19.
In a press conference held on Sunday, the opposition legislators said will attend the session despite the ban.
Somalia was scheduled to hold parliamentary elections last year December and presidential elections in February 2021 as leaders are still yet to implement the 17 Sept pact between regional state leaders and the federal government after numerous talks.
