Truck accident at Gidheys village near Burao injures 50 people

50 people and 17 goats have been reportly injured in a truck loaded with people and goats at Gidheys village , north of Burao, the second largest city of the self-declared Republic of Somaliland , says medical officials .

“ The injured people were hasted to Burao General Hospital and 40 of them are in a seriuos condition “ said Dr Abdikadir Musa , dircetor of Burao General Hospital.
The Truck which is UD model has collapsed running with high speed .
Accidents are more common in the highways connecting Somaliland main cities for reasons related to lack repair since the collapse of the central government in Somalia.
Somaliland declared has fragmented from its former union with Somalia in 1991 but since then did not attain international recognition.
