Technical level of the Comprehensive Co-operation Framework Agreement

In their relations with one another the Parties shall be guided by the fundamental principles, below, in tandem with International Agreements:
- Equality, mutual benefit and recognition of enduring interests each party has in the stability, security and prosperity of the other and the region.
- Mutual respect and support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, national unity and political independence of each other, and also non-interference of the internal affairs of one another.
- The two countries has to exempt mutually of entry visas for the diplomatic and service passport holders from both countries and facilitate the access of the other ordinary citizens of both nations
- The parties should continuously develop contacts between their respective representatives in the context of international organizations and forums with the view to achieving rapprochement between their two states, strengthening of Universal peace and security and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries in the spheres of political, economic, humanitarian and cultural fields in compliance with UN charter.

- Joint military exercise between Somali National Army and Ethiopian military forces.

- Protecting confidential and/or classified information accessed, pursuant to this framework agreement in accordance with their respective national policies, laws and regulations.
