Colonel Barre Hirale boycotts a recoinciliation Conference to start in Kismayu
Somalireport24.com Colonel Barre Aden , a former warlord in Kismayu said on Sunday that he is not ready attending the Recoinciliation Conferernce due to start in Kismayu , the capital of Lower Jubba on 16th of September .
Colonel Barre who fought against Sheikh Aden Madobe , leader of Lower Jubba Administration for the countrol and leader of Jubba regions stated speaking at press conference in Mogadishu said that the Recoinciliation Conference that he has accepted and was intended to attend was postponed .
“ The conference assigned on 16th of September is led by Ahmed Madobe and IGADD without the consent of the Government and we have nothing to do with it” said Barre.
“ If the conference goes by the leadership of the Federal Government we are ready to participate , unless the government gets its role for leadership of the conference , we can’t accept its participation at all” he added.
Barre Hirale noted that the agenda of the conference should be include direct talks between him and Sheikh Ahmed Madobe .
“ We should have to be part of stockholders of the peace and recoinciliation process and structure of the Jubba administration .. and also we should be part of the financial management of the conference “
No comments were available from the Interm administration of Jubba and IGADD on these allegations by Colonel Barre.
Since last year Colonel Barre and his armed militia remained a stronghold at Goobweyn at the outskirts of Kismayu after he was defeated on several attacks he has launched against Kismayu which he was evicted by militia loyal to Ahmed Madobe.
Barre has accepted quit hostilities against Ahmed Madobe after a fragile deal by govermnent ministers who conviced him to arrive the capital of Mogadishu.
