Somali PM expected to make ‘a mini reshuffle’ in his cabinet
Reliable sources confirmed to Somalireport24.com that Somali prime minister Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke is expected to make a mini reshuffle in his cabinet ministers, the fist since to took office in December, 2014.
The expected reshuffle will effect several cabinet members, including home affairs minister Abdirahman Odawa and internal security minister Abdirisack Omar Mohamed, according to Radio Shabelle sources.
The current internal security minister Abdirisack Omar Mohamed will be appointed the leader of the upcoming interim administration of Hiiraan and middle Shabelle region, source who asked not to be named told Radio Shabelle.
Abdisalam Omar Hadliye, Somalia’s Foreign Minister is among those likely to lose within the expected cabinet reshuffle, reports said.
The cabinet reshuffle which becomes the first by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke is anticipated to bring new faces into the council of the ministers to lead the one year term left for the federal government led by president Hassan Sheikh Mohamued.
