Former Ceelbuur governor kidnapped by Al Shabaab
It is reported that former governor of Ceelbuur, Maalin Mahmud Afrax was kidnapped by Al Shabaab operatives one night ago.
The governor of Ceelbur , Nur Hassan Gutale has confirmed to Bar-Kulan the kidnap of the former governor.
Gutale said clan elders have established contacts with Al Shabab and have called for the release of the former governor since he is no longer in politics.
Maalim Mahmuud who was the governor of Ceelbuur during the regime of the late Abdullahi Yusuf was kidnapped from Dac , 18 kms to Ceelbuur, and it is not known where he is.
