Abdirizak Silver, a Somali journalist shot dead in Galkacyo

Abdirizak Ali Abdi , a prominent radio and TV journalist working for Radio Daljir and a correspondent of the Somali speaking Television of HornCable has been targeted and shot died in Galkacyo of the Mudug region of central Somalia on Tuesday evening.

The journalist has been attacked while he and other journalist were at a teashop and armed men open fire before fleeing from the scene.
Abdirizak started his journalism career in 2006 and journalists say that he was a veteran journalism .
Many journalists were targeted in Gaalkacyo while some of them were killed , others including a woman journalist were wounded as others fled from Galkacyo.
