Fighting in Luglow near Kismayo claims at least six people
At least six people were killed including four al shabaab fighters after fighting broke out at Luglow neighbourhood , 17 km north of the port town of Kismayo overnight on Wednesday, says official.
The fighting flared up after al shabaab fighters launch attack on Jubba administration security forces.
“Our forces killed at least four al shabaab armed men as well as eleven others captured alive “ said Abdinasir Seeraar , spokesperson of Jubba Administration speaking to the reporters in Kismayo.
“It was heavy fighting and the two warring sides exchanged heavy weapon “ said Mohamed Abdi , a resident in Luglow.
