Puntland launches livestock vaccination campaign

In a ceremony held on Monday in Garowe , the capital of the Semi-autonomous Regional State of Puntland was launched a campaign to vaccinate 4 million heads of livestock including Camel, goats and cattle.

The campaign will continue for two months.
Puntlad Deputy Minister of livestock Abdiweli Seed speaking at the ceremony stated that the livesock will be vaccinated against smallpox and other one million heads of goats will receive treatment .
The campaign will be supported by FOA and other international agencies with the collaboration of Puntland’s Ministry of Livestock Husbandry,
Along with the livestock vaccination will be measles vaccination , to vaccinate children
